Apple is notorious for releasing new products with different storage capacities. Primarily, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB however it looks like they are about to break the mold of their set standard. According to rumors, Apple is about to release a new 5.5 inch diameter screen with their new iPhone 6. Of course, a higher price point will undoubtedly go along with the larger phone. In order to compensate for this price difference, Apple has been forced to offer additional features on the phone and more built-in storage is likely one of these additional features.
Although nothing is official as of yet, rumors suggest that Apple could be releasing a 128GB storage capacity device with the new iPhone 6. If this rumor is true then there will be little difference between the iPhone and the iPad, as the iPad comes with a standard 128GB storage capacity. The camera features and editing tools also contribute to the strength of the iPhone.
The smaller version of the new iPhone 6 includes a 4.7 inch screen with similar features to the larger phone. However, reports are also suggesting that even the smaller version won’t have an option for a 16GB storage capacity. This comes as a huge shocker to the majority of Apple fans who consistently expect to have at least three different storage options built into their iPhones, especially since Apple does not provide an expandable external storage device slot. This is one of the complaints that many previous Samsung users have regarding the iPhone, however this might be easily negated if they do away with the 16 GB offering and replace it with a larger capacity 128GB device.
Whatever the case, iPhone fans across the world are patiently awaiting the release date for the new iPhone and we’re pretty confident that they won’t be disappointed.
