Kickstarter has funded many great products, and today, we look at one such interesting product which was showcased at CES 2014 this month. We are talking about iZZi Slim, the latest accessory from iZZi gadgets which allows users to take classy shots with the help of the four lenses attached to the iPhone case.
The case itself is good looking and is made from a polycarbonate material with a matte finish. As a result, the case is sturdy and looks premium. But thats not the interesting part. On top of the case, just where you would find your camera hole, you get four different lenses to take pictures with. So, you have a 180 degree fish eye lens, 0.67x wide angle lens, and a 2x telephoto lens. Further, when you unscrew the wide angle lens, you can use the macro lens that’s underneath to take close up shots.
Now, you must be wondering, this sounds a lot like Olloclip’s 4-in-1 lens right? And you are right indeed. But there’s one major difference. This particular case is targeted at those users who would like to keep the lens attached to the iPhone 24×7. So, instead of clipping the lens on whenever required, you can just start shooting pictures at your will because the lenses will always be fixed to your phone. Further, as these lenses are attached to the case, you can to quickly shift to another lens just be rotating clockwise or counter clockwise. Its as easy as that.
Ofcourse, with a fixed lens arrangement, there comes the problem of portability. You can’t just keep your phone in your pocket anymore, atleast not comfortably because of these protruding lens. But you can anytime remove the case to free up your phone, whenever you think you won’t be needing the lens for sometime.
The phone case is available in black and white colors, which to be fair looks quite good and can be purchased online for $99.99.
