Every year at the end of summer Apple users start to get extremely excited. Why? Because the company is about to release their new iPhone. This year, Apple fans have been chomping at the bit to learn the release date of the new iPhone 6 and the time has finally come to announce that date.
Most Apple users upgrade their phones according to the contract plan that they have in place, which generally means they will be due for an upgrade in mid-September. It stands to reason then, that Apple makes the best financial gains by offering their new phones in September. This year is no different. The company has apparently announced the new release date for the iPhone 6 and it looks like September 19 will bring with it the release of the new iPhone. Of course, this information is based off of the Chinese media and cannot be 100% verified. However, the track record for these news outlets makes us tend to believe that they are telling the truth.
The release date for the new iPhone 6 isn’t the only thing that Chinese media outlets are reporting. According to the same source, the new iPhone will also come with a standard 32GB of space and will retail at a price of about $850. Once again Apple also offers several different versions of the phone with a 64GB storage phone also available for the price point of $1008. Although the price point is significant, it is important to remember that the iPhone 5s was the same price point as the new 32 GB iPhone 6 with far less space.
Additionally, rumors confirmed that the new iPhone 6 will also include a 5.5 inch screen for about $100 more. It looks like Apple users will have their choice when it comes to which iPhone they will purchase this year.
